Rich in industrial and working class history, this site offers the interface between new urban development and character filled Chippendale. The architecture is driven by the ground plane and landscape response offering new north facing public space activated by cafe and improved landscape parkland buffering existing streets from larger scale. The playful landscape references the local materiality and history of the site enhancing fine grain pedestrian pathways with diverse settings.
