Graduating from the University of Newcastle, Katherine joined the studio in 2010. Katherine has experience across a diverse range of projects and building typologies through all phases from project briefing and consultation to project delivery.

Katherine has held a key role in the design, documentation and construction phases on projects including multi unit residential, student housing, public and community buildings. She has displayed a particular strength in early concept design and planning phases, frequently collaborating in fjc’s design competition teams, demonstrating her commitment to the process of design excellence. She also has extensive experience in stakeholder and community consultation, brief development and master planning.

Katherine has developed specialist interest and expertise in educational projects focussed particularly on secondary schools. With a passion to create learning environments for new and emerging teaching, learning and research paradigms her response is honed specifically to their unique context and culture.
