Design research and development is inherently embedded within studio culture.

Design decisions are informed through detailed analysis of project specific parameters through the investigation and development of current and emergent technologies, engaging with industry specialists we have developed construction techniques and material systems.

The groups focus is divided into two principles of expertise: material systems and environmental analysis and simulation.

fjcstudio acknowledges all Aboriginal and Torres  Strait Islander peoples, the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we work.

We recognise their continuing connection to Country and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.

We extend this acknowledgement to Indigenous People globally, recognising their human rights and freedoms as articulated in the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.
