338 Pitt Street Sydney: A transformative architectural approach that balances urban scale with human experience

Two slim 80-storey towers are elegantly integrated into the Midtown precinct, fostering a new network of laneways and public squares. These spaces are framed by a fine grain of street-defining low-rise buildings, creating a vibrant microcosm of city life.

Central to the design is a reimagined public domain that enhances pedestrian connectivity between Pitt, Liverpool, and Castlereagh Streets. A new civic plaza, enriched with outdoor seating, landscaping, and integrated public art, revitalises the streetscape and fosters community interaction. Through-site links further activate these spaces, seamlessly blending urban functionality with public engagement.

Our design emphasises the refinement of Sydney’s urban geometry and structure while embedding moments of human-scaled interaction. This project  transforms underutilised space into a dynamic urban setting that resonates with the city’s character.

The development’s podium, designed collaboratively with;

anchors the towers in a harmonious interplay of residential, commercial, and public spaces. This mixed-use hub is designed to deliver a world-class experience, integrating luxury living with an active and accessible public domain.

338 Pitt Street exemplifies a thoughtful urban vision—redefining Sydney’s skyline while prioritising community and connectivity at street level.
