Community engagement is a core principle in achieving best practice and design excellence.

fjc considers that place and community are inseparable, that architecture transforms and interprets social values and aspirations into built form.

Working with the communities and stakeholders who will inhabit and visit a place ensures that final outcomes meet and exceed needs, that design is context specific, and that communities take ownership and delight in their place.

Our projects are significantly enhanced by the processes we undertake to understand a project’s true purpose.

fjcstudio acknowledges all Aboriginal and Torres  Strait Islander peoples, the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we work.

We recognise their continuing connection to Country and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.

We extend this acknowledgement to Indigenous People globally, recognising their human rights and freedoms as articulated in the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.
