Each fjc project originates in an examination and appreciation of its place in relation to Country, the landscape, the city.

Urban design is a broad endeavour considering the morphology and systems of a site or precinct in context and forming propositions that are connected and future relevant. It considers the movement, gathering, working and living of people and their interaction with the natural and built environments.

Our work involves the creation of urban frameworks that imagine open space, public domain and built form outcomes that can be realised over time.

fjcstudio acknowledges all Aboriginal and Torres  Strait Islander peoples, the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we work.

We recognise their continuing connection to Country and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.

We extend this acknowledgement to Indigenous People globally, recognising their human rights and freedoms as articulated in the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.
