“taking your beautiful tangible creation and bringing it to life with the intangible, through creativity, experiences and human connection.”

While conventional wisdom might have dictated the transformation of this space into yet another bar or restaurant,  fjcplace and the City of Sydney envisioned something more — a cultural space for public engagement, a sustainable and enduring public asset.

Paul Schulte, the director of Machine Hall, explains….

In a landscape plagued by alarming vacancy rates, it is a pleasure to see the space today operating as a vibrant cultural hub, hosting a variety of events such as fashion runways, dance performances, yoga classes, weddings, and more. The venue is set to host a series of Vivid Sydney events, further establishing its role in the city’s cultural scene.
