Annie Hensley

Principal

Annie graduated with honors from the University of New South Wales. With 20 years experience, she has led teams across a diverse range of complex masterplan, residential, commercial, public and interiors projects. Adept at resolving challenging and sometimes conflicting user requirements, she regularly manages stakeholder and community consultation phases, as well as brief development and authority liaison. Annie optimises these important phases to drive a distinctly context and user driven response to each project. This commitment is reflected in a number of national and international awards for projects she has led.

Her passion for community and place driven buildings includes particular expertise in library and learning spaces. Having co-authored the latest edition of People Places, a guide for public library buildings in NSW, Annie continues her research into innovative responses to these typologies and participates in library conferences.

Annie is the Head of fjcplace.
