Leichhardt Women’s Community Health Centre Celebrates 50 Years of Service Improving Women’s Health. fjcstudio present a Vision for the Next 50 Years.

Leichhardt Women’s Community Health Centre (LWCHC) has been providing essential community based healthcare and support as part of NSW heathcare system for 50 years.

To ensure women have access to key health services and remain sustainable into the future we are proposing a number of carefully considered and cost effective design interventions, assisting LWCHC to continue to fulfil community healthcare needs for the next 50 years and beyond.

Today, LWCHC officially launch their archival art exhibition depicting fifty years of serving the community. The exhibition is a visual history that threads through decades of advocacy, compassion, and empowerment- uniting generations in a celebration of women’s health and women’s lives, and runs from 1 March – 26 March 2024 at Leichhardt Library. Free entry at any time during library hours.

Come along and see our vision.
