Alex has extensive experience in multi-unit residential, health, hospitality, and heritage/adaptive reuse projects. His work is defined by strong design integrity, technical coordination, and a deep interest in how construction methodologies shape the built environment.
Alex holds both a Bachelor and a Master of Architecture (Hons.) in Heritage and Contemporary Architecture from the National School of Architecture in Clermont-Ferrand, France. While in France, Alex led the adaptive reuse of a heritage-listed faculty building from concept through delivery. He later spent a year in Bali developing an off-grid residential project before relocating to Sydney, where he has contributed to projects ranging from Sydney Metro stations concepts to a 200-apartment serviced building in Canberra, as well as several large-scale multi-residential developments.
Passionate about construction and building techniques, Alex is driven to understand how each element of the built form influences the whole. His international background and hands-on approach to design and construction bring a unique perspective to FJC’s projects, ensuring that design excellence is matched with buildable outcomes.
