David joined the studio in early 2014 after twelve years in the industry. In his time at fjc he has taken lead roles on a number of key community projects quickly becoming a highly valued member of the studio. With dual qualifications in Architecture and Building and Construction from the University of Melbourne, David has combined his passion for design and interest in public placemaking with considerable technical expertise to deliver a variety of building typologies and multiple sectors. His experience spans from large scale health, justice, education and public commissions to community buildings, both in Australia and abroad.

David is dedicated to working with stakeholders and achieving excellent design outcomes, ensuring those outcomes develop into reality. He has successfully led teams through all project stages from inception and briefing through to building completion and handover. David’s strengths lie in understanding and working with key stakeholders, managing client objectives and expectations and translating those requirements into highly successful built environments.
