Kathleen studied at the University of Applied Science, Koblenz/Germany and the University of New South Wales and graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture and Urban Design in 2002. She has gained extensive experience across a variety of award winning projects in both Australia and Europe. Her repertoire includes a wide range of building typologies with her most recent focus being on the retail sector. She has spent the last 5 years transforming traditional introverted shopping malls into vibrant community precincts that offer exciting dining, shopping, leisure & cultural experiences thus completely redefining and elevating the role retail centres play in their local neighbourhood. Her collaborative and pragmatic approach has seen her successfully manage these complex projects and challenging timelines.
Kathleen leads the retail group at fjc which focuses on this fast evolving sector and the significant part it is playing in modern citymaking.
